Monk never sees things the same way other people do...

From Season 3, Episode 13, "Mr. Monk Gets Stuck in Traffic": It's dawn at a construction site, and Ray Galardi, a tough-looking gangster, is meeting with Steve Marriot, an environmental activist. Galardi wants Marriot to withdraw a lawsuit that's holding up Galardi's plans for a strip mall. When Marriot refuses, Galardi smashes him in the head with a lead pipe, killing him. Later that day, Natalie is driving Monk and Julie down the highway on their way back from one of Julie's field hockey games. A truck cuts Natalie off, and Monk reports it to the trucking company. Minutes later, Natalie is passed by a dump truck driven by the killer, Ray Galardi.

Monk Synopsis: Adrian Monk (Emmy®-winner Tony Shalhoub) was once a rising star with the San Francisco Police Department, legendary for using unconventional means to solve the department's most baffling cases. But after the tragic and still-unsolved murder of his wife, Trudy, the devastated Monk becomes obsessive-compulsive. His psychological disorder has caused him to develop an abnormal fear of virtually everything: germs, heights, crowds... even milk. Monk's condition costs him his job, but he's back as a police consultant despite the unique challenges he encounters in his everyday life. These challenges lead Monk to hire a personal nurse, Sharona Fleming (Bitty Schram), who is always there to offer her assistance, even with the simplest of tasks (like organizing his sock drawer). Her less-than-subtle prodding keeps the "defective detective" on track in his investigations, as well as in his efforts to convince Captain Stottlemeyer (Ted Levine) to allow him to return to the force.

And, just so we had no doubt that Monk was right about the Paramedic being the bad guy, the bad guy smirks when Monk is removed from the scene.. .)

Monk is not afraid to do what is right when the time comes . Not afraid of heights or planes or getting arrested .

I love that Korn was in this episode as well as this is where we meet Garret Price.🤣 I still enjoyed Korn’s appearance on “South Park” first.😉

🙄🙄..
How oblivious are the police (troopers) and accident scene investigators that **nobody notices** the "paramedic" is snooping around the vehicle instead of actually attending to patients?? I know that "it's just a television show", but COME ON!!! 😒😒

Many familiar faces in this episode. The sheriff, bad guy, and the band

I'm upset that the bad truck driver got unfired during this episode when Monk took his complaint back, people like that shouldn't be driving much less driving for work.

Sharona would have freaked out and got Monk freed.

01:32 Me too. I was also used to be something. 😇 The lawyer is cute. Jokes about his professional failure 🤗.

There was an episode of CSI: Miami in which a Monk like character who was pre-disposed to report little things wound up being murdered for reporting someone’s bad driving.
