Inflation can be complicated and confusing to understand especially as a young teenager or young adult. I being one myself thought it would be useful to share some basic information that I have of Inflation in to this little video to hopefully help some of you searching for an answer to the question: How does Inflation work?

I think the statement that investments and assets are worth more in the future because of inflation is wrong. Stocks outpace inflation so it can't be that. Also if the value goes up with inflation, then yes, you would have a larger sum of money after you sell your investments, but in terms of purchasing power there shouldn't be any difference I think because everything else also went up in price.
