Well although my family is majority Muslim, we celebrate Christmas as it’s seen more of a traditional family holiday relating to our ethnicity because our country used to be majority Christian but now it’s mixed with Christians, Muslims and Athiests meaning that we more follow Christmas as more of a cultural holiday than a religious holiday because Christian and Islamic themes have been adapted together into my family’s culture. But, I respect you guys :)

Muslim friends will always wish you on a holiday, so you should afford them the same kindness when it comes to theirs. In high school I moved to a new school and when eid came around I simply said "eid mubarak" to the Muslim girls and they were so happy, I was the only person that had said it to them all day!

So I volunteer with an organization that places foreign exchange students in American homes for a year. Many who come are Muslim, and since they’re usually staying with a family who celebrates Christmas, they do as well! In many cases, host families will fast for one or more days during Ramadan as well. I think it’s excellent for all involved to learn about each other’s traditions and to participate in their holidays and observances.

I'm a kid but I plan on when I get older to give my children gifts like a Christmas but obviously not Christmas meaning I won't put up Christmas trees and decorations but the joy that Christmas gave me before I became Muslim I want to pass that joy onto my children by giving them a bunch of gifts also I obviously will celebrate muslim holidays also you guys have taught me so much

But would you attend a Christmas celebration just to see what it's like without actively celebrating it? I have friends from plenty of different faiths and cultures and I've love to see what they do. :)

im glad that you saiod it what you follow and not that others have to do the same thing as you.
Bruh if a muslim want to celebrate christmas let them do it in the grand scheme of things itll be a blip in time,

Hell i have a ton of muslim friends who actually celebrate christmas and halloween because their kids felt left out of things and they saw it could be done to work with them.

To many people now take it far more seriously then they should. Live life as you please without hurting others

There is a teacher I know that wanted to make all of her students feel included. She noticed that some of them were Jewish and Indian (unsure of their religious background but she has a set of twins who’s parents are from India). While most of the kids are talking about counting down to Christmas and the food and the presents she wanted to do something for the other kids too. So she decided to gather up a bunch of advent calendars that weren’t really any holiday theme and make them a count down to their winter break from the end of fall break. They got candy and fidgets and things to color. I thought it was a wonderful idea. (I don’t remember what grade she teaches but her kids are like 6-8 year olds)
