Earth Hour seemed to get much less publicity this year than in previous years.

The lights were turned off long ago, only sorta switched on during elections. :P

If you think the purpose of Earth Hour is to save energy then you have missed the whole point. As I mentioned in the video, it is only a symbolic gesture. Its purpose is to raise awareness of the need to use less electricity from non-renewable sources.
