As an Israeli i can assure you that this absolutely the most absurd conspiracy theorie i ever heard.

How man mountain are in the negev desert? It's straight out impossible to build something like that.
And even if it was possible Israel would just build it in sderot (north to gaza) for the same effect.

Also the peace with Egypt made it completely unnecessary

If Jordan, Gaza, and Israel can accept this idea, I think they will greatly benefit from it, especially the people of Gaza. The Ben Gurion Canal in Israel, which starts from Gaza and runs through Israel to Jordan, could provide significant advantages. Just my thoughts.

The lack of sand, soil and aggregates and the enormous demand for it in today's construction projects, would be a massive source of income that could be used to offset the building cost. Selling the earth and dredging material removed during the construction would massively offset the cost of such a massive undertaking. An alternate canal is logical and should have begun decades ago for so many rational reasons. Two canals would virtually ensure the uninterrupted flow of globally essential materials. An accident or action on a such a strategic canal as the Suez, interrupting the flow of traffic, takes so long to repair that the flow of traffic causes global supply chain logistics catastrophes. Building a second canal is essential for food, energy, essential goods & services security for humanity. Global supply lines would immediately experience a 100% improvement in flow rate and security. There seems no rationale that could outweigh the enormous global benefit a second canal would provide.

A canal could go this route through tunnels so minimal water would be required as the canal remains at sea level. In the uk we have 200 yr old canals that do this. In pre motor days, when barges were usually pulled by horses, who clearly couldn't manage the tunnels, men used to lie down on planks laid across the barge and " walk" along the tunnel walls either side, to propel the barge forward !
