I burst into tears when he said that no matter how many times you’ve relapsed that you’re still not a burden..

I struggled with a pill addiction went from a single night of fun to a 6 year nightmare, lost my job home ended up in jail, almost lost my family, I got tired of losing and hurting my family got myself together, I have been clean going 3 years, I have a new home and job and recently gotten married so if someone reading needs to hear this just believe it gets better just focus love yourself and GOD will see you though it💙💙💙💙

Their relationship solidifies how genuine Karamo is. Its one thing to give great advice, its another to see someone who truly backs it up. Usually addicts have a lot of resentment, but his son had not one bad thing to say. Everyone goes thru things but the way this was dealt with is truly refreshing.

As someone who struggles w addiction, I just love this. The fact you used your platform to share something so sensitive, allowing yourself to be vulnerable as such to the public, shows a lot. Jason good for you, I hope you stay clean & happy and your relationship continues to grow and evolve in a much more healthy way

He's a good kid that had a setback. We have all been there. Making dumb decisions that are detrimental but rebounding from them.
God gets the glory.

This side of karamo I love to see. Especially someone who is coming up on 16 months clean and sober. I know he's not gonna see this but from my whole heart thank you for sharing this side of you especially since you didn't have to. I'm so happy to see that he chose life ♥️♥️

So true, I’m the child everyone assume is super strong & always ok because I don’t really talk a lot about everything that I go through I just get through it. But when no one called to check on me when my father died was eye opening & heart breaking

When Karamo said that part about putting your family in boxes... that really hit for me. It had me thinking about how I'm viewed differently by my family and how I've chosen to view my family members. And how certain people outside of my family project this "ultra strong & capable of handling anything" sort of idea onto me just because I've openly shared about my struggles after the fact with a hero's journey delivery... This opened a can of worms... Thank you for your vulnerability in this one by bringing your family on, Karamo!
