Just in case u have my issue, all this is correct, but check on services if the thing your trying to change is linked to wuauserv because mine wasn’t. When u click on the service your trying to alter it should say the file near the top. If it isn’t find that file and do the same thing in the permissions

for me it says it couldn't change the value itself, therefore I can't change it from 4 to 3 no matter what I try and do, is there any work around to this?
