Common V-Brake Problems and Solutions

Nate Pinney of FCCB shows the most common problems with V-Brakes, also called "Linear Pull Brakes". Solving these problems just requires a little knowledge, and maybe a 5mm hex key or Phillips #2 screwdriver!

This video was filmed away from our shop due to the COVID-19 social distancing guidelines that have resulted in the temporary closure of FCCB. We are excited to get back to the shop soon and get more bikes out on the road!

First off, thank you for getting right to the point and NOT explaining your whole life story. 2nd, thank you so much for explaining the most common problems/fixes with the braking system. This is the first video that actually helped me with the problems I have been dealing with forever. I can't get my noodle to sit in the retention bracket slot.
There is not enough give in the noodle to engage.
Please advise?
