Altenew Alcohol Ink Marbling | Terrific Tags with Michelle

Hey there, crafty friends! Have you tried alcohol ink marbling? Michelle Short here, dropping by to inspire you with a card making video tutorial on how to create alcohol ink marbled backgrounds.

For the technique, you will need a container with water. Drop in alcohol inks, mix around and then dip in white cardstock to get some fun looks! The alcohol inks marble on the cardstock but also create some texture that looks like granite. So fun!

I like the tip of using an extra sheet if paper while die cutting with vellum to mot get extra marks from the plate. Thx.

beautiful work! I've done paper marbling many times with shaving cream and liquid watercolor (or even food coloring), but I've never seen it done with alcohol inks. The ink almost looks granulated, like you would get with certain watercolors, and I love that texture (while I agree, it's not really marble). I will certainly be trying, thanks for the inspiration!
