I saw a video of hot snapz being activated and reused and THIS is SO COOL! A good way of transporting heat via crystal "magic" or fast crystalization exothermic reaction. I can imagine these are gonna save lives all over Europe and the US this winter. Even if they don't have available gas, these can be recharged with water and firewood. Could even charge them while trying to make distilled water.

So they wont melt in the pot will they?
EDIT: my solution is to boil the pot, move it off the burner, and put the warmers in. That seemed to do the trick. Also you can just hold them with tongs over the burner but that's more involved.

Thank you for explaining how to activate them. I got it as a present but my first disk did not ever got activated. After seeing your video, I tried a second disk and it worked😁
I think the first disk will never work...do not know why?

If metal clicker does not work can fluid be activated another way.

Hello. I have these hand warmers and I have a doubt about safety. The pan I use to heat them up can I use also for cooking?
I just want to be sure that I can use the pan to cook .

put a towel on the bottom when boiling so the hot metal doesn't touch vinyl 👍
