2023 GR Corolla Forge Short Shifter / Detailed Installation Made Simple

I install a Forge adjustable short shifter in my 2023 Toyota GR Corolla. I take my time and show you exactly how to do it with an explanation as I go. This is very easy to install and can be done in 30 minutes with basic tools. One thing to point out, in the video by Forge they say to use a 17mm socket or wrench but it's really a 16mm which isn't super common so make sure you have that size.

The shifter action is nicely shortened even on the minimum setting so adjust to your taste. Please comment and ask any questions.

Thanks again for the install video.
I installed the Racer X Pitch mount a few days ago. That alone made substantial a difference in tactile feel.

Today I also installing the Racer X Short shift and bushings - OMG I now know what all fuss is about👍 (Since I was dismantling that area I also installed the Velossa intake at the same time -:)

One thing I noticed is that when using only the pitch mount caused me to mis-shift a few times. (weird - I know) But - after having installed the SS I haven't and know I will not be missing a shift going forward.

You have the shortest/longest throws backwards. Least change is from the inside, most change is when it's outside.

Also, a 5/8" is a workable substitute for a 16mm in a pinch.

The further you move the pin away from the original connection point, the shorter the throw will be. It is a simple lever. The closer you hold to the pivot, the less you move but the more force you have to apply. Looks like an easy install.

Really appreciate your videos. I did the duck bill along with the circuit edition wing yesterday. I have only seen your video with the duck bill spoiler. This one seems like an easy enough install. How short percentage wise do you think it made with the setting you used with install?

Not that it's important, but it looks like you've done it to the most aggressive position by putting it all the way away from the red castle nut.
