The EMCO Unimat is a very old lathe from Austria, ca. 1960. It is very hard to get a good EMCO. I was able to get an EMCO Maximat built in 1963 last year, very good condition and very expensive, but the price is worth it. From the mid 1970, these machines were only built in Korea and China, unfortunately no longer so good and yet so expensive.

Looks good! I am planning to get a unimat 3. If I get it I will buy this!

BTW what is your experience with unimat 3?

I need something small and portable but will mostly be doing aluminum, brass maybe a bit of steel.
