Today i am flying a beautiful Schleicher Ka8-b which has been restored a couple of years ago with a nice paint job and even Nappa-Leather in the interior. Just one hour earlier i managed to hang on for about 50 minutes but the very warm and moist air together with a front moving in towards the evening led to no usable thermals in reach.

Had so much fun flying K8s at the Dorset Gliding Club in England. Lovely little aeroplanes.

Did my first 5 hour duration flight many years ago at the Long Mynd in the club Ka8, should have had a pee first but the plan was for an hour before lunch, very uncomfortable towards the end .
