Nickelodeon REMOVES Red Mist Squidward from Spongebob

Red Mist Squidward appeared in "Spongebob in Randomland" as an amazing creepypasta reference, but unfortunately the censors have removed it from all reruns. Why'd this happen?

They definitely should have kept this in the episode. It was such a Chad move and it really made my day when they actually made such a bold reference. It was legitimately funny. And anytime I tell anyone about how they had the reference to it they laugh and then when I tell them they replaced it with the baby Squidward they are disappointed. Spongebob is supposed to be a comedy- something to make people laugh- not something to disappoint people. They really had something magical and legitimately funny with this reference and they unfortunately ruined such a good reference. It made me laugh so hard when I saw this reference. Because I was just like, "Oh my god, I can't believe they actually referenced Red Mist! This was the most apex thing I have seen!" Nobody laughed about baby Squidward. Why replace a legitimately funny joke with something that is meh. Just throwing in a reference to something so dark in a children's show was hilarious. It had great shock humor, and it wasn't scary enough to freak anyone- even children- out. Even though it was a clear reference to Red Mist they still didn't make it as creepy looking as the imagery from the creepypasta. It was a good non-scary, legitimately funny, dark joke.
