Glad to see you back mate. Love everything about the light, except the price😫 Superb color, reminds me of Minolta Hi-end photo lenses back in the day.

i remember when i build my first flashlight in 2005.
used a 12V halogen mobile spotlight. drilled the back out of the reflector to fit a 50W HID bulb with a car ballast and starter. throw all that in the lights housing. put a 16V lithium battery in and went downstairs at night with snow. as i turned it on it was like the sun came up, slowly ramping to full power from the HID ballast...
and for the first time in my life i was sure there is something like "too damn bright" in the world of flashlights. something i never experienced before. throw was unreal with a tight beam easy over 2-3km. walking at night in the snow wasnt possible without welding glasses.
and yet here we are... almost 20 years later. with flashlights you can buy in every online shop. size of your palm and same rediculous bright which actually nobody ever really need.

but then the young boy inside me jump to my shoulder and wispers: "are you sure there is something like "too damn bright" for a flashlight?
and the actual me answers: "you are probably right...there is only one way to find out - lets order one. just one more. for the sake of the good ol´ times. just this one more i promise"

The manker is beautiful but I must admit that the ec06 is really good with it. It is known that the color of xhp50 is much worse in astrolux, it heats up faster so the turbo drops immediately but the price is 5x lower. Great comparison :)

Thanx a lot for this video 👌.
Concerning the beam distance I would like to see the SFT40 version, it should almost double the distance of the XHP70.2 one.

I almost bought the original MK39 Ranger a few years ago. I went with the Thrunite Catapult V6 in the end, an extremely pocketable torch which is a great all rounder, and I’m very happy with my choice. BUT, I’m always drawn back to this style, I love the handle, and the shoulder strap is so convenient ( especially when walking my dogs 💩💩💩 ) it seems to have it all.uy
This and the Acebeam K70 have a future with me somewhere along the way, I know there are better torches out there, and if I had a lottery win I’d buy the Lamborghini Countache instead of the latest and greatest, I like what I like. Good video 👍

Great to see you back Flash - Jens can use that Fandle after his encounters with the Galiens just saying it's very useful if fitted properly!

Does anyone else have the problem that the tailcap is REALLY hard to screw on? I cleaned the threads completely. Just two turns later it's completely black again. What's going on? Is it the MAO finish?

Does the MK38 with the 70.2 6500K throw further than theSFT40. On the Manker site, it states That it throws 800 m. I ended up purchasing the gray with the Cree XHP 70.2. At 6500 K. I hope I made the right choice. I already have the AceBeam X 75, which I love.

I wonder at 10 000 lumens, how many minutes will it last?
