Girl, I’m 37 and I put up glow in the dark stars on my bedroom ceiling after I turned 30. string lights are a VIBE! Being an adult doesn’t mean you have to be boring 😅

OMG!! I'm in my 60's and I have fairy lights in my bedroom and around my headboard. I get compliments when I leave them on and have family and guests over for dinners. Go for it!!

Apartment looks awesome! Lights are lights🤣 they look great! I'm 31 and married and have white lights on black wiring around a window for ambience so, you're all good! LOL

Only suggestion is maybe charge your phone in your bedroom for safety since you are alone. You can get it quicker in emergency. All the best,

My opinion, but as a female, and for general safety, I would always keep my phone next to me at night. If I'm tired, I just turn it off and go to sleep. Safety first.❤

Hi Charlotte! Shame on whoever said negative comments about your fairy lights. It's your apt and your bedroom. You can have fairy lights all over your apt if you want.
I love your bedroom with the fairy lights. It's beautiful.
Your whole apt is beautiful.
I use kids mouthwash bc I like the bubble gum flavor. I don't like adult mouthwash and I have some cute toys. A llama that plays music and dances and a pink pig that walks and dances. You can have anything you want in your apt no matter how old you get.

Idea: You could add photo frames in your hallway kind of like displaying your life or stages of your life like your 1st bday, or the day you grauated, first day off college etc.
Your apartment is already sooo nice but I think this extra touch would give it even a more home-y feeling. Its ok if you dont like the idea :)

I’m 22 as well and I have fairy lights in my room. On top of that, my room is filled with plushies lol. I don’t care that people think it’s childish as the lights and plushies make me happy and I am healing my inner child.

Hi Charlotte! I’m catching up on all your previous videos. I found you when you were apartment-hunting. I love your little nest and the way you have decorated it. You do you, Charlotte! I am 75 and LOVE your fairy lights…keep them up. I have battery operated candles all over the house ( can’t have real candles because I have 2 crazy dogs and I’m afraid of fire). One other thing…please keep your phone near you in the bedroom when you sleep. You may need it in an emergency! Just a worried granny always thinking of safety. Chris💖

First off, congrats and beautiful apartment. Also, I am almost 40 years old and my husband and I just added fairy lights to our newly remodeled master bedroom. No idea what college kids do these days, and frankly, I don't care. We wanted a cozy zen vibe, and they are perfect. You do you! And kuddos to you for calling them out and speaking your peace. 👏
