How do you stay warm in a camper van so there's two things that are really important: insulation a is first and foremost you could survive in a van even if it was freezing outside if you had good insulation you wouldn't be comfortable but you would probably be alive.

The second component that's majorly important is a quality heating system at Grit Overland we use the Timberline heating system by Elwell it provides the hot water for our sink for our shower and it provides the hot air that warms our whole cabin in our gear garage area

Obviously the other thing to consider would be insulated window covers. Those make an enormous difference with the heat that is leached through the glass windows

Between those three things if you have quality window covers you have quality insulation and a quality heater you can sleep very comfortably in sub-zero temperatures inside your van
