This is a song about overcoming mental health barriers and striving to be the best you can be. I've been struggling with depression and anxiety for over five years now, but it hadn't gotten severe until recently. It took the joy out of literally everything, especially making music; which is why my uploads have been so rare. So, I wrote these lyrics mostly for myself to keep me pushing forward. I opened up to my mother about my problems very recently, and it was one of the hardest things I've ever done. If there's any of you out there reading this who are in a similar situation, know that the first step is opening up to someone. Swallowing your emotions and pretending to be ok took a huge toll on me. Don't let it happen to you too. You are loved. And you are awesome. I may or may not make a video opening up in more detail about what I've been going through, but at this point I'm not sure it's necessary. Stay fresh.

Yo, man... gotta say, if it helps at all, we all think you're awesome and I believe your story has been extremely inspiring so far.
Five years... that must have been really hard.
I suffer from crippling depression, suicidal thoughts, adhd, ocd, anxiety, chronic migraines, insomnia, and I even got into two car crashes that actually were the main reasons for having a lot of these. I think the only one I really truly had bad before then were my chronic migraines because I got them from my father's side of the family, they just got worse after the concussion thanks to the second car crash.
I got bullied a lot and still get made fun of and teased at school about a lot of stupid stuff like the fact that I have all of these things and that I'm in fandoms like Undertale, Mlp, and RWBY. I walk into a classroom and kids use me as a spitball target in Math and not only that, in the same class that's where the RWBY bullying started...

I'm still pretty young, I mean I'm a teen now and I'm honestly surprised at how much time has passed, and even though stress and frustration is expected as you get older it's still hard whether anyone goes through/has any of this or not.
You can't just "go life alone" and if I keep trying to do that, I'll keep failing and falling apart on myself.

I wouldn't even be here if it weren't for my trust in God and support from family and actually good supportive friends who I can or at least should be able to trust.

I can't even begin to imagine going through both anxiety _AND_ depression for five years without having your family knowing and there to support you 24/7 when you need them...

I truly do think you're a cool guy and pretty inspiring, not just 'cause of your awesome talents but because of your story and how strong you are, being able to push through each day...
I'm not saying that it's good to tell people that the best option for them when they're depressed is to keep it to themselves,
I just feel really happy that all this art and animation was inspired by _one_ remix, _one_ remix inspired by an extremely important story related to the creator.

I feel it's important to be willing to open up to subscribers. While some things should stay personal and other times people have to be careful not to let it get to their heads so it becomes something the artists do just to get attention, it's still really good for them to realize that they are human just as much as the viewers are, and even they will need someone to help them get through stuff and someone to vent to when something is going on.
