At first I thought that Marianne is a very nice mother whom her children look up to. But then I realized right there in a plot twist that she is indeed an evil and ambitious mother who wants nothing more but to help her husband achieve his goals.

She even lie to her own children and deceive everyone into believing her in order to hide her true colors. She even hid herself inside Anya with her Geass in order for everyone to not notice she is alive and has possessed someone else.

She and Charles really are the worst parents to abandon their own children to achieve their own selfish goals.

As Emperor, Charles could’ve easily abolished the Empire’s corrupted practices. Instead, he and V.V. not only perpetuated them but also spread it to other lands and eventually attempted to create a world that no one wanted.

Lelouch becoming Emperor after deposing him could be a way to clean up the mess he should’ve focused on doing all these years ago.

V.V killed for incredibly petty reasons his brother never planned to betray him or anything he just wanted to have his own family if V.V wasn't a jealous little prick he would have a loving nephew and niece to keep him happy and his brother would still been on side and his most loyal ally he literally had everything to gain and would have lost nothing

I know Charles vi Britannia and his brother are actually twins, but in my point of view, Charles was 5 years younger than VV. Since VV's gease kept him from aging, and he was 10 or 11. Which was why when Charles, didn't get that kind of Geass, he was able to keep growing even when he reached his brother's age, they appeared to look like twins.

Poor Lelouch, god, how awful! How much trauma can one person take? To witness his mother's "death" at a young age and the crippling of his sister, only to later learn everything he thought he knew was a lie and he was a pawn all along! It's too cruel, no wonder Lelouch flipped out and killed them both (well, technically he didn't kill them C's World did). Only thing I don't get is what Charles meant when he said they were forced to use Lelouch? How did they know that Lelouch would meet C.C., gain the power of Geass, and eventually lead her back to them?
