I had almost the same story.. i was at my friend's house when i saw a person texting me. I didnt find that a issue but he started telling me to be friends with him, and so i did. Later on we started getting close so we decided to meet up. When we did, he was like the same person on the texts but something was wrong with him. But i just ignored it. But i was curious how did he get my number? When i asked him he said "from a friend" and changed the topic. Then he told me he had something to confess. And he said he likes me. So i agreed and became his girlfriend. Then when we both went home. He asked me for >$=*% pictures, and since i trusted him. I agreed. So after that day on school people were laughing at me, i was confused then i saw a boy show me the pictures and i was embarrassed and mad. My mom got me from school and that person was banned from school and his phone ( i changed schools dont worry guys!😂❤)

It happened to my best friend once she only told me, I kept telling her tell the police but she didn’t want to . I was stuck of what to do at this point but I had no choice but to inform the police they dealt with it and now she’s fine.

So if ur in this situation rn you have one choice to inform the police even if ur scared to get into trouble with ur parents .

I've been through that. It's scary as hell and it comes with a lot of fear, shame and trauma attached. And all those people on the outside never understand that you've been victimized. I'm thanking God every day that it never actually gotten to that scale, because I realised before I got blackmailed, but only the thought of a stranger having this content was terrifying. I've come into terms with it now. The sad thing is that this person could be in any part of the world and the police cannot find them easily. If this has ever happened to you though, speak up. You and others can be protected from the scammer if you do and also please do not be afraid to seek support, speak to professionals if you're not ready to share with relatives and friends
