“Fishing Etiquette” is something that isn’t talked about enough. Thank you, Jon B, for walking the talk. Me, like that Publix guy, have been watching your channel since the early days. One thing that always struck me was your dedication to Catch-N-Release.

We both have young kids that we hope can enjoy angling for their entire lifetime. Conservation and preservation of our shared hobby of fishing is what ties us together. Keep up the great work brother!

This is why I love Jon! Sic my bro! Fun to to see you in Florida and not in an ice tent! 4:20 snakehead talk amongst bass and sticking to your roots baby! Let's go!

If you live in south FL, you know snakehead is where it's at. Peacock bass are fun, but if they are on a bed, they will hit a bare hook. Snakeheads are way harder to catch and do taste amazing. The fight is crazy. The death roll alone is awesome. They do get a bad rap, but I've seen more mud fish (a native species) thrown on the bank to die, than a Snakehead. I don't think any fish should be killed unless it's to be harvested. Also, snakeheads do eat an invasive cane toad here. Great video as always!

I’m born and raised here in western Maine, still live here! I think it’s cool you talk about Maine so much in your videos! Fishing and hunting is the way of life for me!

You gotta try fly fishing those canals dude. Top tier fishing. Nothing like slinging a 7wt at peacocks and snakeheads and hooking a random juvenile tarpon.

I live in South Florida. You can release invasive species back into the body of water you caught it in. What you can't do is release it in a different body of water..

I just went down to the Everglades for a fishing/camping trip with my family. I caught a monster largemouth bass. Tons of trout. My boys also caught freshwater/saltwater fish. Lots of fun.

I started fishing the canals in the later 60s. Like you, from the North, used to cold. It's so sweet to get away and fish and not freeze. I was blown away you could fish in someone's backyard and catch fish. I didn't always know what they were, but for a kid from Wis, it was fantastic.
