I CAN'T STOP PLAYING THIS GAME!! Pokemon Fire Red has been with us almost as long as the Pokemon franchise has, and it is still one of the most solid games in a great Pokemon franchise. It debuted in 2004, and this Gameboy advanced treasure brought all Pokemon masters back to Kanto and brought Kanto back into Pokemon master's hearts. The niche Pokemon pixel art and vibrant colors set the stage for Kanto to be reimagined for the broad younger Pokemon audience. Pokemon is at its roots a grinding RPG that rewards players for catching them all, and this game did just that, only 8 years after the original Pokemon Red debuted. Join me as I bring you through this blast from the past Pokemon games to remind you about how replayable Pokemon Fire Red is.
