42mm Diver Shootout - Omega Seamaster vs Breitling Superocean vs Tudor Pelagos

42mm dive watch space is better than ever before with excellent options from the popular luxury watch brands Omega, Breitling and Tudor. Here I take a look at their Seamaster 300m, Superocean and Pelagos watches and compare them to find out who has the upper hand in which aspect.

This is a sort of Part 1 where I focus on the watches. Look for a follow up video comparing the bracelets!

As always these are my personal views and I am simply a watch enthusiast and there is NO SPONSORED CONTENT in any way. If I do a shout out in any of my videos it is just my recommendation and I do not get anything in return.

I have a solid blue seamaster and a black pelagos. I love them both. Each has their own purpose.

Omega is the most dressy/flashy. Breitling is the in between choice. The Tudor is the most tool oriented of the bunch. All are excellent watches!

The Breitling is my favorite of the 3 shown. But that date window would drive me crazy. It kills the symmetry.
Especially with the large font numbers.

Good review. Looked at the Pelagos Blue, SMP 300 blue but ended up bying the Superocean 44 Yellow dial. No regrets

Great comparison thanks. I have to agree with a lot of your analysis. A couple of points from my own experience. I've owned both the newest silver and black dial seamasters - the silver one has these electric blue hands that really catch and reflect the light which was a real highlight for me. I've since sold both watches. I currently own the white dial SuperOcean 42 and really like it. The lug to lug is indeed long at 50mm, but I wish the actual dial itself were larger, it is only 30mm so the watch wears smaller than the 42mm size would suggest. I was never a fan of Tudor (sorry!) as I find their designs too plain for my liking. My next purchase is likely to be another SuperOcean (black or orange) or perhaps the new titanium Aquaracer on green dial which looks very nice.

Almost bought a nekton but I fell in love with the Pelagos because of the bracelet
