Thanks for the video. I was over on Reddit mentioning something and some folks thought you'd like to hear about it. In your book Play Hive Like a Champion and Cannon of Hive which you've recommended, as well as in the Chess world, many terms are created to give names to situations to make the game easier to describe and understand. My friend and I have been using one I made up that I think is very informative to a situation I haven't yet seen a name for. Here in your video at 3:42 you create what I call a Beetle DMZ. A beetle DMZ is a spot atop the hive adjacent to two opposing beetles. This can include a mosquito atop the hive of course, or also a mosquito with beetle power and very importantly and subtly a mosquito that would gain beetle power from the opposing beetle entering the DMZ.

The beetle DMZ is a very strategic defensive position which you show off here at 3:42. The opposing beetle now does not want to enter the DMZ because it will be covered by the your beetle. This creates interesting situations that cause stand offs. You've used it to an incredible effect here cornering the mosquito on the pillbug.

I was told when mentioning this name for the concept that you maintain a Hive glossary of terms and might want to add it. I was unable to find the glossary. Is this somewhere online? Would you like to add Beetle DMZ to the list of terms?
