I've never really thought of "tedious" being a synonym for "boring." But after looking at the definition of "tedious, " I guess it technically is.

The difficulty depends of your native language. For example, in Portuguese "Tédio" or "Tedioso" means Boring, so "Tedious" its, for us, very easy to identify. In Brazil, lawyers use "novel diploma" to designate a "new law", we also have the "novelas", Brazilian Tv Shows that daily release a new episode.

Got usual incorrectly by choosing monotonous from customary but am proud of the results as a Filipino.

10/10 Easier than expected, but still fun!

9/10 but only because I thought that monotonous was more similar in nature to usual than customary (like "I have a monotonous routine")

10/10. I inferred the colloquialism used in question #7 to select the correct answer. "hard" does not mean "demanding". "Hard" means solid and firm. It's about density of matter. "Difficult" refers to a degree of challenge. If you intend to teach viewers essentials of basic vocabulary, it may help to separate synonyms from colloquialisms.
