So beautiful there. In my youth I backpacked through the Canadian Rockies from Washington state. Brings back some amazing memories.

Last time I was in Banff was in the early 70's. Love ruffing it. I use all Coleman gear. Sometimes the pump white gas stoves are hard to keep lit when windy. Banff was absolutely beautiful. So glad you were able to visit. Take care Misty. Did lake Louise also.

Thank you for sharing the beauty of Alberta! Although we can share our experiences of this area verbally, you captured the beauty and essence of Lake Louise, Banff, Calgary exceptionally well!

Incredible scenery! I loved this video and all your commentary as I usually do- N and I are very similar to you in that we try to avoid crowds and love room service in a quiet, comfy hotel! When we went to Nova Scotia we also tried doner and routine, also not my fave- but we loved the vibe of Canada, the people there are wonderful and the scenery is gorgeous. This was a great video, and now I want to travel to Alberta! Mahalo nui ❤

Aloha Misty. I absolutely love your travel videos. This one in particular because my sister has been bugging me to one day go w/her to this part of Canada. Now after watching your video, I now want to travel there, definitely my vibe with the trees/mountains, I'm sure the air is nice and clean too. Mahalo!

Definitely a long hike, but so worth the natural beauty of the area. The turquoise lakes are so enchanting. You’re amazing how you can find (even with GPS) any obscure place in the woods and find your way. I bet that spicy ramen hit the spot on a cold morning. It’s so pretty there. I thought you’d get a suite for $1300/night. I love Afternoon Tea service but it has to be English style, not Americanized style. The choice of teas, deserts, scones and dainty sandwiches are amazing. I like how they used smoked salmon and ingredients from local sources. Yum donner. Soggy fries with gravy...nope for me, too. Great trip, Misty.

Wow, the view with your room at the Fairmont is amazing. Can't beat it. Sorry to hear that you did not enjoy the poutine. Good poutine can mostly be found in the province of Quebec. Definitely not in the province of Alberta....lol. Tim Hortons is our version of dunkin donuts so you did not miss much there. Thank you for taking us along and sharing all those amazing views. Looking forward to seeing the Disney part of your trip!

I watch you for your food friends and places in hawaii. I was born and raised in ohau. Graduated in 87. Left to Texas for military and retired police. I have been back many times because I have many families live there. In the last ten years I stop. However, next year, I will be there the whole summer and can not wait to visit some of the places you visited in your videos. Your videos always bring back a lot of memories of Hawaii. I guess Canada seems like a beautiful place, especially where you are camping. Actually, i like this video. Stay safe, and have a safe flight back home. Aloha and Mahalo, for all your videos of Hawaii.

Glad you enjoyed visiting the province of Alberta, Misty. Please visit us again to enjoy some great grinds (fresh seafood) in British Columbia. Yes, you are right, we Canadians love to talk story.

Lake Louise is so beautiful. Nice vacation. Disney cruise and now this?!? You don't need "more" citations? Was that a Freudian slip? I'm a fancy hotel person. Too old to be getting on the ground to sleep in a tent, but I loved camping in the past. That Tea looked amazing! I loved this long vlog!

We did that vacation when I was a kid. Lake Louise looked different back then with a more majestic green lawn. There were bagpipers, some who were women! I got confused because the hotel looked different than I remembered and so after googling realized Inwas confusing it with the gorgeous Banff Springs Hotel. We also went on the Athabasca Glacier and rode in these tractor trucks and at one time they parked us over a crevasse. My grandma used to laugh about that because we traveled with them. Thanks for the beautiful memories. I must say, things have changed a lot since I was a kid. My husband also went as a child and he said his first time in a canoe was on Lake Louise! Also, Canadian food??? I don’t want to offend anyone but your experience is about right.😂
