Information and Communications Technology continues to strengthen as a vital part of all industries, globally.
Employers hiring IT workers want technical skills – such as IT infrastructure, web programming and cloud computing – as well as broader business skills including project management, customer service, business analysis and strategic planning. UniSQ IT students use leading-edge enterprise tools and standards such as Oracle, ITIL4 (standard for IT service management), CompTIA Security+ (standard of IT security), implement web services, program mobile devices, apply data analytics tools to Big Data, and manage enterprise networks after completing the CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification.
Undergraduate study disciplines include: Big Data and Visualisation, Computer Systems Engineering, Cyber Security, Data Science, Design and Interactive Technologies, and Information Technology.
