Every time I hear this song it reminds me of a Time long ago when I played the roll of a villain .... I tried to come in between 2 friends and their love for each other .... And I learned a harsh lesson ...I was younger than them both Rodney and Trina ....I had a crush on Trina and she was the one who taught me the lesson was only 8 43 now and I havent forgotten the lesson and just how solid those two were as a rock for real for real lol ....I wrote a fake hate letter to Trina from Rodney in name but not in signature or person they'd temporarily broke up and I would have gotten away with it if I had not felt sorry for Trina ....she was so i confesssed what i did to her she was relieved and with a smile she said the only way I'll forgive you is if you kneel berore me and kiss my feet .... So wanting her forgiveness I did and she kicked me right in the lips as hard as she could and walked off....

Wow! Time has flown by so damn fast. This was the 80's. 37 years ago I was 23 years old. How the world has changed. To you younger folks, this song came out when the world was much better and seemed simpler and less complex. 😊
