I’m going to say this for the next few days and then I’m going to retire from any point of view pertaining to our politics and so called laws. First everyone should not be even talking about the law now. I have been charged and on probation for a petty crime when I was about 20 years old. During this time I could not have a vote, I was made to pay monthly fees and was subjected to random drug tests - a penalty, some form of punishment via our law in this country. Throughout my life it was hard to get a good job, even though I was well educated and qualified due to my background. Our laws and government allowed Donald Trump to be able to run for president as a felon facing other criminal charges - knowing his character and lack of integrity. This should not ever been put in the hands of the people. Our judiciary system has been compromised and shuttered, as a country of law and order, we failed when we were tested. Everyone knew everything that could and would happen if he was elected, now we are living it. We decided to let the people decide through our votes, not the court system - and they did. They spoke loud and clear what they wanted and now we must live with it. I truly believe they found a way to steal this election and our country is too weak and feeble to audit and/or contest it. Despair and exhaustion cannot begin to express how I feel. And yes I feel powerless, what did this one vote for democracy accomplish here in the state of Texas, in a country that would bend and break its own laws and disgrace our Constitution to will of such a man. Respectfully, I won’t tell Ted Cruz where he can shove the vote I submitted against him. But I now share my light, my only hope with you: ‘God said don’t put your faith in man, put your faith in Him’ - I will stand with Him…
