I love how even the Hunter gets a mini-heart attack the second he realises that Zoh is pretty much a proto-Fatalis under all that Wylk.

I like how the holy and evil design of this monster kinda represents how the ancient civilization most likely would have saw Zoh Shia as a savior only for it to turn on them and cause their downfall.

Fun fact: I had only recently beat Fatalis in Iceborne a few days before Wilds came out. So, seeing this thing do the exact same flame breath animation was a *little* too soon to reignite my fear from Iceborne's version of Fatty lmao

The fear of God was put into me the moment I saw it's fatalis moves. Only to be further insisted upon by the fact that the second phase theme had a hint of him there.... 10/10 experience. I love wilds more than any other game

The black scales were surprising, the morphed fatalis head was unexpected, but what really got me was that distinctive red lightning, something I haven't seen in over a decade.

Oh. This really is the equal dragon weapon huh?

For me there were two "oh shit" moments from that hunt:
- realizing they used Fatalis DNA for their guardian
- realizing they used WHITE (OLD) FATALIS DNA FOR THEIR GUARDIAN
