Getting ANY spot twice in a row is going to be x/N since the first time we’re assuming you’re guaranteed to get it and only have to account for the second random event, so the odds of getting any building twice is # of locations in building/total locations.

The odds of getting a SPECIFIC building twice in a row would be (x/N)^2 since we’re not guaranteeing the first spot is inside the building we want.

So it’s 2/11, 350 if there are only two image spheres in that building

So there’s a bit of a misconception. You’re correct if you’re calculating the probability that you’d specifically get that building twice, prior to playing. But if you wanna calculate the probability you get any location twice in a row, you don’t square the probability. The chance you get *any* location once is 1, and then the chance you get the same location again is 1/11350. So it’s actually 1/1*1/11, 350 = 0.0000881 approximately. Still unlikely but not quite as much. And given the amount of games you’ve played the chance that this would’ve happened at least once is actually probably not very low at all. Still, it’s crazy when something like that happens!
