These are harmless. Unlike when people say their cat hates (men, anyone other than their owner, tall people, whatever). And the cat picks up on the nervous energy of the owner, and it was fine before the owner came in and started freaking out. This is worse with dog people, of course.

Cat instincts are actually super interesting beacuse they are the only species to self domesticate
Like cats hunt birds beacuse we never got the chance to breed that instinct out
Or meowing isn't a behavior found in orther felines, its a noise exclusively for human interaction.
