Blue Star (the Theme from Medic) LINDA SCOTT (with lyrics)

If you remember the TV show, "Medic" (starring Richard Boone), then you will remember this as the show's opening tune. It was an orchestral hit in 1955 but sweet-voiced US singer Linda Scott sang the words on her 1961 album, which had the theme of stars on each track.

Thank you for posting! When I was young (60's) this music was played before starting movies at the Cinema. I never knew the letters! Now I understand the name "blue star". Sorry for my poor english.

This is the first time hearing this original version. I always knew it by The Ventures album, Walk Don't Run, Vol. 2. On it they have a steel guitar doing the melody. They do great justice to the song in my opinion.
