Refugees Trapped in Greece, 3 Years Later

Показать описание
For the past three years, thousands of men, women, and children who fled their homelands in search of safety have found themselves trapped in miserable conditions in Greece with little access to basic health services. Their plight is the direct result of a deal reached between the European Union and Turkey on March 18, 2016, to keep out refugees and asylum-seekers. The EU-Turkey deal leaves some 12,000 people trapped in dire conditions on five island “hotspots” in Greece. Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is calling for the immediate evacuation of all vulnerable people trapped on the Greek islands and an end to this cruel and inhumane policy.
