I came to the realization of NPCs just ditching tools over the weekend. Thought maybe there was some task type or order or I was missing, so was glad to hear you talk about running into it, too. I definitely hope they add NPCs depositing broken items into available repair benches

The Memory Table for respawning is currently a mix bag. You can respawn up to 2 NPCs, however they come back at their initial levels/proficiencies. If you are 123/123 Spear and they die, you respawn them, they are now back to 52/123 or w/e their initial values were. Essentially you have to level them up again every time they die.

If you turn pvp on in single player npcs in camps won't respawn til you are out the area

anyone know how to get the tribe crafters to craft thier specific armor? I cant seem to learn it even though i have a crafter.

Will npcs get water from the containers chest?

Think they wont add tool repair automation because the base would be fully automated and negates decay. Just make 2/3 inventory stone tools for a job. Red gold and some purples depending on skill and perks. Will last around 1 day. Stack of flint will repair it on the spot. Once u get more bones. Make bone tooles. Like 15 will last around same time. But u will need to repair at a bench. Late game 5 or 10 tools will pro last a week lol

You can make a recipient type chest and put all the jar in there, NPC's will get there
