What’s amazing is that the Swiss banks have also frozen Russian accounts in their banks.

The gas and oil companies should give their stocks in Russian companies to the Ukraine. So they can use the profits from them to rebuild once the war is over. That way Russia does not benefit from the stock dump.

There should be boycotts against any companies who continue to work with Russia.

Sadly, the Russian people are also hurting from Putin's actions. Hopefully, some day they will have leaders that care about them, if that's even possible.

The price of gas is insignificant to the unbearable cost of appeasement or doing nothing to try to thwart Putin's ambitions. Just ask Neville Chamberlain.

The Russian Ruble falls 30% against the American Dollar and is still falling, so the Russian Central Bank raises their interest rate to only 20%? The situation will only get worst the longer Russian troops remain in Ukraine.

I see Musk came thru, with his promise. How about some more boldness from the rest of the international business community

I wonder what effect the sanctions on Russian banks will have on Trump's personal finances?

We need to be willing to accept higher fuel prices for the time being to make sure Russia receives as many consequences as possible for their invasion of a sovereign country.

Gas and oil companies need to be investigated to make sure they're not price gouging. As they obviously did during covid massive fines if they do.

If Russian soldiers say they were lied to going into the Ukraine, then why were they firing live rounds, treat them as they have treated you

Inflation is ONLY due to the imbalance in supply and demand. Not low interest rates or printing money. You don’t like the cost of gas, drive electric. I bought a 2017 Fiat 500e off of someone else’s lease, for $6000. It still had a year left on its warranty. Even though it only has 100 mile range, I use it for the majority of my daily driving. If enough people would do likewise, that would drive down demand for gasoline and reduce prices. Not rocket science.

Putin wanted a return to the old Soviet Cold War days. You know, where people in Russia had to line up for hours to buy toilet paper.... if the store even had any. He really didn't think this one through.

Meanwhile, Trump keeps heaping praise on his role model Putin.

Curious silence about US Oil giants such as Exxon NOT cutting their investments and ties to Russian operations?
Must be nice to sit back while their competitors take the high road and the losses and reap the rewards.

We need Europe to make a bigger stance on oil and gas they are receiving from Russia.
Then other countries not tied to Russia/China need to help Europe out to cover their supplies. It's a win/win because the country helping will make a (reasonable/fair) profit from selling to Europe and Putin will not have Europe as a major purchaser thus decreasing his money more. Hopefully the Russia people will get mad enough to get Putin out of power, in whatever way they can.

Can we just move to renewables already? Moving to renewables would solve most of this strife that’s happening.
