Automated navigation increases picking productivity in narrow aisle warehouses

Linde Material Handling developed solutions for the Dutch wholesaler MegaGroup that provides efficient warehouse navigation with narrow aisle trucks. RFID technology in production areas and barcode stickers on shelves enable vehicles to determine their position in the hall and automatically navigate to a given destination. Due to speed up the picking process and automatic shortest path selection of the automated transport system the overall performance has been improved up to 25%.
