Gen 5 is better the slide release is ambidextrous so left handed people can use it too. Doesn't really have anything to do with this video but I just wanted to say that

You don’t even have to have the slide pulled back like that. It only has to be pushed back ever so slightly and it will not fire. See this happen often when officers get attacked by a perp and when they put the gun against them it doesn’t fire

How is it disconnecting the trigger from the striker? Isn’t that click from the trigger firing the striker which is being caught by the firing pin safety plunger?
