I kept getting a file version mismatch error in Unity console when I tried to integrate FMod Studio 2.01.00 with the Asset Store Integration plugin which is at version 2.00.08.

So, I just downloaded the Unity integration package version 2.01.00 from FMod's download section and everything worked as expected then.

FYI for anyone who can't see the event within the FMOD Studio Event Emitter, if you select FMOD in the tab at the top of your Unity scene and hit "Refresh Banks" this should update the banks and make it visible

Hi, thanks for this video, I've been learning a lot. I have a question in case you have some time to answer: I am trying to mix my FMOD project with Live Update with Unity. The problem is that the game pauses when I click on the FMOD project. How can I manage to have both windows active and mix in real time? (I'm on Mac). Thanks for your time.

Hey man. I know I'm a little late to the party but I've got a question: I'm working on a project in Unity with other people using github/sourctree. If I implement sounds with Fmod on my pc, will they be able to hear those sounds and music etc I created even if they themselves dont have FMod and my builded fmod Banks, when they merge it into their project? Or do they also need to have FMOD on their pc, with the soundbanks i created.

HI, i did everything and it is all linked up, i am able to put componants and event trigger etc, but when i hit play, no sound is coming through?

Nice video, but I got tripped up by the version mismatch problem. It's an easy mistake to make as the FMOD download page doesn't make it obvious. i.e. latest version of FMOD studio and latest version of FMOD asset in asset store didn't work together. I am now using FMOD studio 2.0.0.10 and so far it seems ok
