I've had people ask if my camera is on when I'm on my bike. sometimes I get the “Please don't record me” response, my favourite thing in that situation is if they have a dash cam I point to it and repeat what they said

I got a camera for Christmas but I couldn't figure out how to attach it to my bike without it falling off, turns out the camera was dead from the factory anyways. So Ill take it as sign I might not wanna be recording when im riding 😂
