I am actually more surprised Luffy didn't chime in to let his insights about cannibalism are. After all, if I remember correctly, Luffy DID try to eat Crocodile on their first fight together. Luffy is a goofball who is a creature of habit: he probably did the "eat your opponent" tactic on some other poor fool, found out that it can work, and decided that it might work on Crocodile. Luffy loves meat.

Yes, I can say that human meat does taste liek pork (I swear I haven’t eaten anyone I’ve just heard it from multiple other source (I might be a bit interested in cannibalism help me))
