CRF250L/CRF300L Seat Height Visualization

A visual guide for shorter folks who want to ride! This 2014 CRF250L has a 34.6” seat height, and I wear 30” inseam for jeans, size 8.5 for shoes, and I’m 5’7”!

Thanks, I am glad your video shows I should be totally confident on a factory new CRF300 L, I realize by reading you were on your 250 L, thanks again hope it`s all A-OK be safe out their (on the roads) .

I lowered my YZ250 2-stroke (tallest production dirt bike made, for some reason.), by 1" in the seat and .75" off the suspension, (turns so well now). I made it a tad shorter than I thought I would, (but I think I will like it even more) because I slightly misjudged how much to lower it total. What I should have done was stack MXA magazines under my feet when sitting on the bike, of equal height stacks until I got the touch I wanted. Oh, make sure your suspension has the right rate springs for your weight first, and you should have a much more ride-able bike and capable bike. These tall bikes today. I think it is just one more sign that mankind is entering an era of irrationality. Glad I am old. I am 5'9" tall.

Great info. I also have a short inseam so I'm looking at the 300L(s) with its shorter seat height- only thing is it only comes in Grey & I prefer the RED. I'm wondering if a Seat Concepts Low seat(1 inch) will be enough of a drop for me or I'll have to go with the grey LS.

Just stand on the peg with the kickstand down and swing your leg over

I am 5 foot 8 and i can tip toe 920 mm dirt bike. Most of my friends who are 5.7 also can tip toe same bike. And how couldnt you tiptoe just 880 mm bike if you are 5.7

Tall bikes aren't for short people, its really dangerous on slopes or hills, where you won't be able to balance it off and fall
