Four years ago, Danny rejected Ferrari because they weren’t the best team at that time, just as he had previously turned down McLaren. In contrast, Carlos accepted the challenge and chose McLaren and Ferrari during a time when they weren't at their best form. Although he was still young at McLaren, he was given a senior role and proved that he could lead the team in the right direction. He continued to demonstrate this ability during his time at Ferrari.

I want to thank Carlos for his four years with Ferrari. He stuck with the team despite the challenges, and now we are so close to fighting for wins again. I’m sad that he won’t be with us next year, but I am proud of everything he has accomplished with the team.

Actually genuinely sad Carlos is leaving he was really finding himself in Ferrari. Williams will be a set back unless they become competitive. Carlos really looks good in Red. I too got into f1 this year. But I am 100% sure that I am going to miss him in ferrari more than anything else. It truly is painful to watch him bid goodbye.
