Ditch your polyester clothing!

If you are conscious of what you eat (organic, chemical-free, healthy foods), why aren't you doing the same with the clothing and fabrics that you wear? If you won't drink out of a plastic bottle or you keep away from endocrine disruptors, you shouldn't be wearing fabrics that contain plastic or synthetic (harmful) chemicals.

Your skin is the biggest organ in/on your body and it is constantly soaking in everything you put on it.

Maybe you use a suspicious face cream - soaked into your skin. Maybe you get some quality sunlight - soaked up by your skin. You should be aware of the fabric content of your clothing and avoid anything unnatural. Stick to simple, natural, fabrics that come from plants or animals.

Don't fall for the polyester psy-op. Those "performance fabrics" are harmful to your hormonal health and actually do a worse job of wicking sweat than regular old cotton or wool.

Always check the labels of your clothing!

Be aware and be well

Polyester is like wearing a garbage bag... It's not breathable

👏🏼👏🏼 Then on top of everything some of these brands are expensive. We’re paying a ton for essentially wearing toxic garbage bags.

So glad you're educating people about this! Over the last few months, I've emptied my closest of more than 10 bags...so crazy that I was having so much plastic in my system. I'm still cleaning out what I can. I can't get rid of everything or else I'd have to leave this earth, lol, but I'm doing my part to take care of my health and our beautiful planet. I hope you are all do too :)

So on point. I am transitioning my entire families clothing to natural fabrics as money and time allows. As a Christian I actually found evidence in the Bible about using natural fibers for clothing. It just makes so much sense!

I agree but at the same time cotton is often sprayed with heavy pesticides and fertilizers.

Can't afford a$ 120 shirt tbh and I can't afford this food either. Maybe here and there I can add or whatever. It's tough.thinking we went too far the other way.

I've started buying only 100% cotton clothing, but how do I tell if my old clothes contain polyester?

Literally love this!!! What are your thoughts on not wearing polyester but have a hard time finding organic cotton. Is cotton good enough if washed several times compared to straight up nylon, polyester ect?

Do you recommend any 100% cotton shorts? They seem pretty hard to find and are pretty expensive.

Why wear polyester?
Answer: Because as someone who struggled with eczema and psoriasis for many years, my skin seems to have an adverse reaction to natural fibers while polyester seems a LOT more comfortable. Besides, most any "natural" fiber clothing is going to be laden with dyes and chemicals anyway.

Basically everything is a chemical, including water. There is no avoiding it. Chemicals are in all your organic foods, and chemicals are not inherently bad.

I’m sorry but I’m not following this video. Polyester is just way too soft and cotton isn’t nearly as nice. I don’t want anyone to criticise my opinion
