Ships And Submarines Depart Pearl Harbor For RIMPAC 2022

Multinational ships and submarines leave Pearl Harbor Naval Base in Hawaii to participate in exercise Rim Of The Pacific 2022 (RIMPAC 2022) in July 2022. RIMPAC is a bi-annual exercise; the largest maritime exercise in the world. It currently involves twenty-six nations, 38 ships, four submarines, and more than 170 aircraft and 25,000 personnel. RIMPAC 2022 runs from June 29 to August 4, 2022. Nothing better than being haze gray and underway. Memories of entering and exiting Pearl Harbor in the 80s. Best part rendering honors to Battleship Row.

I remembering doing RIMPAC when with USS Constellation around 93/94 time. Was fun as a Signalman talking to the other foreign Navies.

Ships have changed in appearance since my time in the MARINE CORPS. The navy boys probably have also. Keep them in line guys. That's what marines do. Ooh RAH

The last ship, the Abraham Lincoln, looks pretty impressive with all those aircraft on the deck. I can imagine it is one huge chore to clear that flight deck and make it operational.
