How to Plot a 3D graph | Plotly Tutorial in Rstudio

Plotly.R is a open source library used to make beautiful html friendly, interactive, publication quality data visualization. Here I want to go through the basic how you can navigate the library to plot the graph you desire.

I am trying to make a 3d graph now, and face a problem. I can follow your video to make the 3d plot, but I fialed to to add surface (like the volcano 3d graph), and the error here is "z has to be numeric matrix". I have tried some ways to convert my data tp matrix, but all failed. Could you please show how to use a normal excel data table, to make 3d plot with surface in R?
