Naturally aspirated, hydraulic steering and an in-line 6 or v8 is the recipe of happiness.

NA everytime for me. I love the throttle response and the beautiful exhaust note, turbos kill the sound dead.

Change playback speed to 1.25. You are welcome

*Reliability:* NA by a mile. Less things to break usually means fewer things get broken.

*Accurate throttle response:* NA (For experienced/professional drivers, a more accurate throttle response may be prefferrable, especially on Track.)

Power/Max Torque: Turbo.

*High-Altitude performance:* Turbo for the forced air induction, as long as you keep the RPM in the "boost" range (note a Supercharger is even better for high altitude operation)

*Efficiency:* _It depends!_ (The tuning programmed into the Engine Control Unit (ECU) still plays the largest role after the driver's behaviour. However, if the throttle is used progressively and turbo-lag minimised (such that the engine isn't revving hard for too long, if at all, before the boost arrives) then turbos have the *potential* to be more efficient.)

In response to throttle response, that's why a supercharger is the best of both worlds. Great talking point.

Its abit different when your paying the equivalent of $9 a gallon like we do here in the UK. The efficiency starts to matter alot more. Plus when you bring in twin scroll turbos/twin turbos alot of the issues are largely dealt with, at least enough to the point where it starts to make more sense. The throttle response on my twin scroll BMW is amazing, not massively different from my NA V8 drift car or VW Corrado VR6 which is also NA, though much older. Having full torque from 1250rpm all the way to 5600rpm is great, even then it hold most of that peak torque right through to 7000rpm.

Don't get me wrong I love my NA's hence why I put 1 in my comp car but it's starting to become harder to justify as technology continues to improve so won't be long and my comp will end up with a twin turbo in it.

Great video, 1st time I've seen your channel, will be sure to check back again.

The only time it makes sense to boost an engine is if you've already built the lightest and smallest possible physical engine, gotten the most displacement out of it and made it flow the most air possible with the least restriction. (Basically an LS7-X) If you still need more power after that, then boost makes sense.

I didn't know Peter Griffin reviewed cars

All he is basically saying is that your vehicles engine will still boost and peak more at the end of your pull thus the torque at the end he talking about because basically the turbos are charging up the boost by bringing in colder air - and with naturally ASPIRATED ENGINES it's just full natural already dumped with air and gas so u will have massive amounts of large pulls at all times..that's it..simple as that..

What about boosting a naturally ASPIRATED engine though? Lmfao I know that's a lot of power..the fear is that the engine block wouldn't even be able to handle all that power lmfao..

For me n/a all the time. Better sound anytime, better throttle response as you said. Better top end, bcs n/a engines are linear. And they are cheaper to run.

I like na better it makes the build more enjoyable for me in my opinion

Key advantage of having a naturally aspirated engine is turbo lagging

I have now my first turbocharged car in my life, you feel much more torque already in low rpm ranges, what makes driving much more effortless. It’s kinda like driving a diesel car, it’s different

If you’re using it as a daily driver, which most of us are, then NA for sure!!

NA if you're comparing V8 vs V6 turbo. But both superchargers and prochargers have better throttle response than turbo. Supercharger in particular has a pretty uniform performance curve.

I would like Turbocharged over N/A from factory... Great video

No its better to keep your eyes on the road

You have the disconnect between the pedal and the throttle body on every new car, turbo or natural. No more analogue. It's all gone digital.

have 6.2L V8 Sierra z71, nearly the same engine as a Corvette, I believe it has a different bore. Great engine, I'm thinking of putting a supercharger on the motor...can you all talk me off the bridge.

Forced induction all day, the sound is better, very simple to tweak..
