Promotional Video-Antenna, RF and Microwave Laboratory

The objective of Antenna and RF lab designed by Akademika is to develop students’ analytical, design and evaluation skills at microwave frequencies where lumped elements (e.g., resistors, capacitors, inductors) are no longer appropriate. This Lab introduce students to Transmission Line theory, a large variety of antenna structures of practical interest related to recent developments in wireless communication, passive and active microwave devices, including filters, amplifiers, mixers, couplers, power dividers that constitute wireless communication systems between the antenna and the signal processor.

This Laboratory truly follows the concept of Blended Learning wherein the Student starts to learn and design using the Simulation Software, Experiments using the Prototype Training Equipments and then qualifies the result using Spectrum Analyser and Vector Network Analyser.
