Let's be honest
We all came here just so we could see that brawl down smash

Aside from the obvious, there were a few interesting differences:


- Upon detonating the C4, Brawl Snake throws the detonator into the air or looks at it in ground and air respectively. Ultimate Snake just detonates it without any extra flair. This difference is sort of reflected in the gameplay too, because the C4 explosion in Ultimate comes out a few frames faster.


- Forward, back and up throw animations in Ultimate have much stronger posing in general, with the animations being more clear and lingering in the end pose longer, giving them a bit more oomph.

I love how they improved the cqc animations. Forward throw looks like his move in mgs4, and back throw looks like his move in mgs1.

The most impactful thing this video did is remind me that characters had less than 8 costumes before smash 4

The Brawl's final smash is hands down way better than Ultimate's final smash....

Finally, there’s no other video where they compare each and every one of Snake’s moves from Brawl and Ultimate and I’m glad there finally is one.

You don't realize when playing Ultimate just how much better they made his animations. It's a lot of small but really good changes.
