HE'S A PIRATE! (with tesla coils)

For those who did not understand what is going on this video, here's a brief explanation: The main loud music really comes from the tesla coil sparks. They are literally playing the music due to the programmed phase, pulse width and firing frequency! So, there are no speakers, no audio / video special effects. It looks even better in person and sounds almost the same, just louder than people expect!

I know using Tesla Coils to make music is nothing new, but I still find it weird (in a good way) on how it can pop up in musical conversations now. Here’s an example:

I love that someone, somewhere, at some point, heard the different noises the zaps make, and not only went “ooh, WHAT IF???” but then went on to create a genuinely amazing instrument. xD Honestly, humanity and it’s inclination to do absolutely wild things with even wilder (and increasingly dangerous) tools will never stop being amazing. xD
